I’ve been teaching yoga and meditation since 2016, after many years of dedicated daily practice. To me, yoga represents coming home to myself.
I took a microscope and examined the reasons behind doing what I was doing. I thought deeply about this tiny amount of time I have here on this Earth and decided I wanted to do it my way. Adding in a dash of sparkle, some blatantly honest communication, adventure, soul searching and a generous dust of glitter on top and this is what I found. We are not on a journey of ‘‘being better’’, instead I believe we are on the path home to who we always were before we got sidetracked.
I voice my journey as I walk along. I never shy away from sharing the tough times, nor do I glorify the good times. As a Vipassana meditator, I believe in the impermanence of life appreciating that nothing lasts forever.
For now, I wear many labels and none at all. I am simply a human, being. Walking alongside you on this beautiful Earth trying to make sense of it all with full appreciation that it’s not mine to make sense of.
This site will act as a tool for me to share my thoughts and words on the lifestyle of yoga, philosophy, mindset, travel, motivation, and what it means to live a life that feels good (most of the time).
What do I do?
My yoga classes are now offered online during the Covid 19 pandemic. My courses run for between 4-5 weeks and are usually pre-recorded. The style of yoga I teach is Hatha in nature. I also teach yin, restorative yoga, prenatal and postnatal yoga.
I am a qualified Life Coach, achieving an advanced Diploma with Neuroscience. My purpose as a coach is to help you live that gets you looking forward with a spring in your step and a smile in your heart. I believe in a people-centred approach and fully believe you are strong, capable, brave, and courageous all on your own. You don’t need me at all. Sometimes though, it helps to have a shoulder to lean on or a cheerleader in your corner. That’s where I come in. With you in the driving seat and me reading from the map, you create a life that is unashamedly, uniquely, and unapologetically yours to own.
I am excited to see where this life takes us both.
